To some sounds as much like an Original Hater as an Original Wailer but nonetheless I think that even the millienium bug will have a hard time sounding as classic as rule dancehall 30 years on. But then again lots of kids think that Murder She Wrote is a old school as we do ska..
Well I love Bunny but Ruke Dancehall release on the album of that same name in about 1986-87 still longtime but not 1979…….
As a young boy in the late ’80’s in South Africa I grew up listening to great tunes like Rule Dance Hall, Jolly Session, Dance Rock etc. But what I’m hearing right now I cant even believe it’s coming out of Jamaica.Jamaica and Africa have everything in common. The King of Kings is from Africa. The people who originated Reggae music are African descendants. But the people who were supposed to sustain this unique music are virtually killing it.Why are they calling that ”rubbish” dance hall?
