For Flashback Friday, Boomshots Features A Grenadian Soca Song (2011)
A balanced relationship is analogous to a pendulum in a resting, equilibrium position. Any disruption (disagreement, separation etc.), displaces the pendulum sideways, causing vulnerability to a restoring force, due to gravity. The music video directed by Kerry Velon, brings this Spice Island Soap Opera to life. In the video, the protagonist, played by Grenadian artist, Jalon “Boyzie” Olive, finds himself subject to temptation following a heated argument with his girlfriend. “Jus so!” the pendulum swings into motion to restore harmony.
