Miss Maddy Carly is a graduate of Leeds College of Music who attended the BRIT School at age 14. (Graduates of BRIT include Adele, Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Katy B, and Rizzle Kicks.) So what’s a nice girl like that doing hanging out in West London at Peckings Studio 1 record shop? Well it just so happens that this prestigiously pedigreed young singer/songwriter has recorded a blazing new tune with Chris Peckings called “Get It Right” over a classic Skatalites instrumental. The tune is so sweet it’s now being distributed by Red Star Sounds and an official music video is in the works. You know that Peckings formula: old school, new blood.
