VP Records Expands Their Roster VP Records announced today that they are proud to welcome singer Christopher Martin to the VP family. The Jamaican native, who is currently in the studio recording, is slated to unleash his debut album on VP Records at the top of 2014. Chris Chin, CEO of VP Records stated:

Chris himself also expressed his enthusiasm about joining forces with the label:
“I am very happy to be working with VP. I’ve made major strides in my career as an independent artist, and with the backing of VP plus all the hard work I will continue to put in, I strongly feel that the sky is the limit for me. I’m looking forward to greater things from myself and my new team.”
Martin made his mark in 2005 when he won his native country’s top televised talent show competition Digicel Rising Stars and from since then he’s been burning up the charts with hits like “Take My Wings,” “Giving It,” “I’ll Be Your Driver,” “Paper Loving,” “Chill Spot” and “Cheaters Prayer,” both home and abroad. Over the years, Martin has worked with reggae’s premier producers including Robert Livingston of Big Yard, ZJ Chrome of Chromes label, Shane Brown of Jukeboxx Recordings and Christopher Birch. He has developed a large fanbase abroad, particularly in Europe after his 2012 tour with German reggae artist Gentleman.
