There was a time however when only a select few were privy to the unique sound of Major Lazer, let’s say around the 2009 right before the Vybz Kartel assisted “Pon De Floor” ravaged the airwaves (and our eyes, if you saw the video) there was another tune entitled “Hold The Line.” Lazer pegged dancehall star Lexxus and rapper/singer Santigold a combination at the time no one saw coming, but given the collaborations Lazer have had over the years this was one of the more tamer ones.     Shaggy And Friends Put On A Great Show For An Even Greater Cause

    Reggae powerhouse Shaggy brought together a few friends for a charity show in aid of the Bustamante Children’s Hospital on the grounds of Jamaica House in Kingston. The level of support was evident on the streets of Kingston as patrons converged on the venue resulting in a massive traffic backup along Waterloo Road and others, with motorists crawling in line for almost an hour before being able to enter the grounds.
