Snoop Enlists His Daughter Cori B And Drake As They Plead For An End to The Gunplay 
Having previewed this track Last week on the Conan O’Brien Show, big Snoop Lion drops the next single off his Reincarnated album entitled “No Guns Allowed,” which Snoop has repeatedly called his favorite on the album. It’s certainly a departure from Snoop Dogg’s “187 on an undercover cop” days. The track is a plea for the removal of guns due to the increased, senseless killings of innocents especially children. To further drive home the seriousness of the song Snoop recruits his own daughter Cori B whose voice provides the perfect backdrop for Drake’s heartfelt verse, which was apparently inspired by a 2012 shooting in Toronto that left two dead and dozens injured. Last time I chatted with Tifa she had a lot to address. As she herself put it, “if nobody knew who Tifa was, they do now.” The Dancehall Princess has been getting lots of word-of-mouth advertising, the kind you don’t have to pay for—cause hate is the new love. Over the last few months Tifa’s had to deal with a lot of heat, and it seems like 2013 is all about the get-back. In true dancehall stylee Tifa’s churning out the tunes—first came “Champion Bubbler,” then “Why Yuh Mad,” then “Hypocrite Smile” and now this banger on the Washroom Entertainment label. Pour it on!! When I first heard this girl I felt I could crap my pants at any moment from hearing her chat, and things ain’t really changed on that front! So when this video turned up in my DM inbox I knew I needed to take some personal time out to deal with it. Chann always keeps it real & being a tough cookie hasn’t kept her from keeping feminine and sexy. When Chann and her bredren Shizzle recorded this track over the classic Neptunes beat for her latest mixtape Dun Dem Season: The Trilogy it was decided then and there to shoot a video for it—and how glad are we that she did?!? Remember last July when Serani broke away from the Daseca production team? At the time the situation seemed like an amicable split. “I’ve watched my partners Craig and David grow substantially through sheer hard work,” Serani said at the time. “I believe that I should give them room to spread their wings… They’re very very talented brothers. I just believe that maybe we’d be better off doing out own thing. I’m not saying Daseca is split for good. Who knows what can happen in years to come?
