    Today marks the first official day of Summer and what better way to welcome the hot sun and bess body girls than with the Gaza general himself Vybz Kartel. “Summer Time” dropped in 2011 around the same time Kartel had solidified his domination of dancehall music to the point where if Kartel wasn’t on your riddim your riddim wasn’t hot. It would be unfortunate that that same year was when Vybz was arrested on a marijuana possession charge with later he was subsequently charged with murder and sentenced to jail where he still waits for trial to this day.
