Watching the Warlord juggle on the Answer riddim at Mavado’s party got me in the mood for some Vintage Killer, so I had to take it all the way back to one of his earliest singles to touch the road shortly after he changed his name from Bounty Hunter. This warm & easy sound killer was released on Uncle T’s label, flipping a sound killing dubplate sinting into a 12-inch single. Check how cool and calm the DJ delivers his vocals, far from “Cross, angry, miserable” but right in the pocket, grooving to the bassline, savoring the sensation of slaughtering soundbwoys.
